The seventh or crown chakra is a home for spiritual empathy, but it also contains the gift of claircognizance. The cool part? You can hone and develop this gift.
The Crown Chakra is at the top of the head and is linked to the pineal gland.
Traditionally, some view it as lavender or white in color. Personally, I see it as white. This chakra gifts us the desire to explore our spirituality, merge with the ONE and resonate in the wisdom floating in the Universe. If you love to meditate, read spiritual books, explore metaphysical or religious topics, preach, or have been called a “seeker,” likely your crown chakra is one of your strongest energy centers. The crown chakra is ultimately the place where we seek connection with Oneness.
Psychically, the crown chakra holds the gift of claircognizance or clear knowing. Claircognizance is when you suddenly hear a truth or idea or wisdom simply lands in your heart. It may land as a thought or sudden awareness. It’ll almost feel like an epiphany!
Here are three quick games to help you open your own gift of claircognizance.
Open the computer or grab the pen and paper. Set the timer for 5 or 10 minutes. Start writing or typing. Don’t slow down and don’t stop. If you don’t know what to write, then write, “I don’t know what to write,” until something comes in your head.
When the timer stops, give it a read. What’s there that you don’t remember explicitly writing down? What surprises you?
What’s The Answer?
Sit in a quiet space. Breathe deeply. Ask Source to be with you and answer you.
Shift your attention to the top of your head. Bring a question to mind. Make your first question an easy yes or no. After you “ask” the question to Source, take another deep breath. On the exhale, see what answer lands in your mind.
Work up to more intricate questions and pay attention to what answers come in.
Call In The Epiphanies
What is it that you want insight on or information about? When you wake in the morning, spend a few minutes focusing on the issue. Just allow your mind and heart to turn it over. Call in Source to be with you throughout the day to offer you clarity or answers.
Throughout your day, pay attention to what shows up around you. Revisit the issue or question at the end of the day and see what lands in your mind. What are your thoughts or knowings about it now?
You can also do this at the end of the evening, and pay attention to your dreams.
NOTE: It’s easiest to start with non-emotional issues.
